When you install programs on your computer, some of those programs are also configured to start when Windows Vista start. 1. Click Start > Run and the inside empty field type msconfig. Then click OK.
2. A System Configuration Utility will show up. Click the Startup tab.
3. Startup card shows you every service and program that is run when the computer stat to boot. You can stop programs and prevent their start by simply unchecking field next to program name. Then click OK to confirm all changes.
4. You need to restart your computer after every change.
